Black and White Beans

We played with two sensory tables today, one filled with black beans and one filled with white beans. This activity was completely inspired by Miss Mariah. She is very fascinated by moving things out of the sensory table into somewhere else, so I chose something that would allow and encourage her to do that. Of course it was fun for everyone else too!

I set the tabled next to one another and then took a step back to see how the kids would interpret the activity. They actually played for quite awhile before the beans began to mix which surprised me!
