Playgroup, Applesauce, and Apple Trees

Wednesday morning, so we went to playgroup over in Lyman! It was very sunny so my pictures aren't the greatest, but we sure had fun!

This afternoon, we made applesauce! We are really great chefs!

The recipe said we needed five peeled apples. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5...

We had to slice them into small pieces...

Colby helped put them in the pot...

We added a little apple cider...

and put the lid on for them to cook...

While the apples were cooking, we made apple trees for our art project! We painted glue on the apples, put them on the trees, and talked about where apples come from.

After the apples were finished cooking, we took turns mashing them up!

We added a little white sugar...

a little brown sugar...

and a little cinnamon... It sure was yummy! Between the three kids, they ate the whole bowl!

Mason and Carson slept today at the same time as swimming lessons, so I had an hour with just baby Gus! We stayed busy...we looked in the mirror, played with ribbon rings, and read books!
